Food Sense Wales join the Eating Better alliance

News | Published  12 March 2026

We are thrilled to announce that our long-term collaborator, Food Sense Wales, has joined the Eating Better alliance. This partnership comes at an important time for food policy across the UK and just months before the upcoming Senedd elections

For the past three years, Eating Better has been expanding our work beyond Westminster and engaging with organisations working to influence policy across the devolved nations.

Food Sense Wales has been a key partner in this work, and in supporting translation of our key resources into the Welsh language.

“I am thrilled to welcome Food Sense Wales to the Eating Better alliance and formalise our long-standing collaboration and partnership. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Food Sense Wales as a member, and learning from their leadership and advocacy at what is a pivotal time for Welsh food policy with the upcoming elections in May. ” - Rebecca Sunter, Executive Director (Interim), Eating Better

“Food Sense Wales is delighted to be joining the Eating Better alliance and becoming part of such an impactful and insightful network. As an organisation that works across the food and farming landscape, Food Sense Wales has played a key role in developing cross‑sector food partnerships in Wales and has been central to developing a good food movement across the nation. Joining the Eating Better alliance offers an exciting opportunity to further collaborate with organisations across other UK nations, to strengthen relationships, and to work collectively to help transform our food system for the better.” - Katie Palmer, Founder and Head, Food Sense Wales

A huge welcome to the Eating Better alliance!
